This is in line with one of our key beliefs – that once a risk management and audit strategy has been outlined at a company level, it should flow into everyday business practices. Our hands-on approach ensures that key stakeholders within your business have access to critical expertise when it is needed.
Communication and reporting protocols
We understand the importance of a collaborative relationship and open communication. Accordingly, our team is committed to:
-
Regular and timely communication with key stakeholders.
-

- The highest possible level of client service quality assurance and account management
During the co-development stage, we agree with the reporting format that clearly and concisely describes audit issues and findings, risk exposure, recommended actions and management response (including identification of an officer responsible for implementation) and an implementation due date.
Our service approach is centred on providing appropriate feedback during each stage of the internal audit engagement. We work to develop a communication plan that facilitates discussion of activity updates, fieldwork observations, business insights, value ideas, and industry and business issues. We also schedule forums to provide us direction and feedback. The communication plan will provide an opportunity for coordination of internal and external audit activities.
The basis of our reporting protocol is ‘no surprises’, meaning that all audit issues will have been discussed with managers of audited units prior to being communicated in reporting. Our reporting approach compares the status of control objectives against key business processes and provides agreed ratings.
Value for money
We have a philosophy of providing value for money and tailoring our services to meet the needs of our clients. Our fees to deliver the right balance of internal audit and risk management services, encompassing high-quality controls assurance, value and innovation at a cost effective hourly rate.
